Project Activities and Methodology

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:

To increase the active participation and inclusion of young migrants (aged 13-30) from three countries: Poland, Greece, Romania, in the activities of cultural institutions and shaping the program offer of at least 3 public cultural institutions, aiming to enhance migrants’ sense of belonging and cultural integration within the local community. We aim to achieve this through education and training in the Design Thinking methodology for youth workers, enabling in-depth interviews and creative processes leading to the development of 3 pilot programs in cultural institutions during the project duration.

Foundation & Training

Building the groundwork for successful collaboration and introducing Design Thinking methodology

Kick-off Meeting

2 Days All Partners In-Person

A pivotal in-person meeting where partners gather to confirm agreements, discuss task assignments, and ensure everyone is aligned with their roles moving forward.

Design Thinking Workshop

3 Days Youth Workers Training Center

Comprehensive introduction to Design Thinking methodology with particular emphasis on the empathy phase, equipping participants with skills for conducting in-depth interviews.

Cultural Institution Study Visits

2 Days Project Team Kraków, Poland

Immersive visits to cultural institutions to understand the current state of inclusion for young migrants and map out challenges ahead.

In-Depth Interviews with Young Migrants

Structured yet open-ended interviews conducted by trained youth workers using a jointly developed scenario to ensure consistency across discussions while capturing diverse experiences.
